Stunning Rubythroat

This dazzling male Siberian Rubythroat (Luscinia calliope) has recently been hopping around in a garden of some lucky so-and-so near Lerwick, Shetland. A near relative of the Nightingale, this outstandingly beautiful softbill is occasionally seen in aviculture, but it's a heart-stopper wherever it appears.
